To say 2011 was a wonderful year for me both professionally and personally would be an understatement. Here’s a little of what went on at home as seen through the iphone. Wishing everyone a wonderful 2012, I cannot wait to see all the fun this new year brings!

only 6 months after the fact, but here are the pics from our father’s day session. I was racking my brain trying to figure out what to get the husband for his very first father’s day while driving home from a wedding, yes the night before. When it hit me…an early morning session in bed with the babies. A great big thank you to Janelle Vano for doing these so last minute. I hope to do them every year until it gets us on awkward family photos! Come back in July and I might have some Christmas photos up.

for Ashley. We are doing her senior photos in three parts. I’m so excited. She is such a beautiful, smart, sweet and talented young lady. And we are so glad she is our son’s girlfriend. More coming soon!

at blogging photos of my little ones and I cannot believe they just turned 6 mos old! Where does the time go? In the past week between the two of them they have sprouted 4 teeth and are masters at sitting up. We have been so blessed to have so many wonderful photographer friends photograph us. And sometime this mommy breaks out the real camera and puts down the iphone to photograph them too. So here goes the great baby blogging catchup.
I’m going to start where it all began. The amazing photography of their birth by Josh Solar. I have to admit there were times leading up to the birth that I questioned if I really could have another person, let alone another guy, in the birth room. As time grew closer I went back and forth but knowing Josh and Jenny and their total professionalism I decided what the hell. I even convinced myself Josh could be there without be in all up in my business (so not true by the way). Even though it’s been 6 monyhs since little Tommy and Sammy arrived, I feel a responsibility to share these photos on my blog. Because after having gone through having someone photograph the birth, I truly believe everyone should do it. What a gift to have these photos that are so dear to our hearts. Thank you so much Josh! And thank you Jenny for sharing your husband with us and doing the editing. We love them…the photographs and the Solars!!!

I was so excited to photograph Mema’s 90th surprise birthday party. I have know Mema for about 27 years as friends of her grand-daughters Stacey and Stephanie. She is the youngest, most active 90 year old I know and still travels the world. I sure hope I have 1/2 the energy Mema does if I make it to 90. I’ve already marked her 100th birthday on my calendar and will be there with my camera. Enjoy!

Well it’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but this is going to be a good one. On April 25th we welcomed Thomas Ruwet Miller (aka Tommy two chins) and Samuel Cooper Miller (aka smiley Sammy) into this world. They are the sweetest little men!!! I can’t believe they are 3 weeks old today. Here’s a little pic from last week. Stay tuned for more coming soon and even some wonderful wedding photos. It’s time to revive this blog from the dead!

I apologize for the long time between blog posts. It seems growning two humans is more time consuming that I thought! We are expecting the early arrival of baby A and baby B anytime now and are so excited.
In the meantime since I have baby on the brain thought I would share a few pics from a baby shoot with one of my favorite couples. And to make it more fun show their progression as a couple and family. I shot Lindsay and Hank’s wedding a few years ago in Cabo and was thrilled to get to photograph and meet their little Hawken. Lindsay happens to be the most talented interior designer and baby Hawken’s nursery has been featured all over the internet. So here are few photos from engagement, wedding & family, enjoy!

It’s been a while since I posted about baby A & baby B but today we got the first real ultrasound photos of their faces. It’s true, there are two real little people in there! Aren’t they cute? We can’t wait for them to get here, ETA mid-April.
No name baby A, top of head to the right.

No name baby B, top of the head to the left.
