I didn’t know much about Jamie or Joey before the rehearsal dinner the night before their wedding. Like many of my travel weddings, I don’t get to meet the couple beforehand. What I learned the night before their wedding made me even more excited than I already was. They are two of the kindest people. Both of them so gracious.

I asked Jamie if she wanted to write something up about their wedding and I think her words describe it better than I could.  From Jamie – Our wedding day was truly a Fairytale…

Joey and I could not have asked for a more perfect day or a more perfect group of people to have been celebrating with. The love that surrounded us was so magical and unforgettable, so much that to this day we continue to talk about it.

Every detail that we had wanted throughout the day was even more beautiful then we could have imagined. Joey and I really wanted “us” to be shown on our day; from our custom monogram, decor, food, band, and fireworks, no detail went untouched. Everything was so amazing and perfect, but none of it would have been possible without our family, friends, caterers, vendors, or our wedding coordinator Beth Beattie, who truly made our Fairytale come to life! We will truly remember this day for the rest of our lives, and even more so with the help of these beautiful pictures :) Thank You, Leigh!

A great big thank you to Beth and Kristin for sending this wonderful wedding my way. Please see all the great people involved in the wedding below the photos. And be sure and check out Jamie’s business, Southern Belle’s Cakery.

Congrats you two!

I’m so excited to be posting part I of Kristin and Drew’s wedding at the Windsor Club in Vero Beach, FL. I was so flattered when Kristin, the co-owner of Bellafare, and Drew, an amazing fashion and travel documentary photographer, asked me to be their photographer.  It it always a pleasure (and a bit nerve wracking) to shoot for other professionals in the industry.  Here is how their day started, be sure and come back later this week for part II.  The couples pics, the amazing details (Kristin’s an event planner…right!) and the super fun party.  This might just be the best group of dancers I’ve ever seen at a wedding!  And of course a list of all vendors. Kristin and Drew hopefully this post will make coming back from Italy a little less painful, enjoy!

Baby Hawken…

March 28, 2011

I apologize for the long time between blog posts. It seems growning two humans is more time consuming that I thought! We are expecting the early arrival of baby A and baby B anytime now and are so excited.

In the meantime since I have baby on the brain thought I would share a few pics from a baby shoot with one of my favorite couples. And to make it more fun show their progression as a couple and family. I shot Lindsay and Hank’s wedding a few years ago in Cabo and was thrilled to get to photograph and meet their little Hawken. Lindsay happens to be the most talented interior designer and baby Hawken’s nursery has been featured all over the internet. So here are few photos from engagement, wedding & family, enjoy!

Recent press…

February 15, 2010

I’ve been so bad at sharing magazines publications that I thought I’d just throw some of this past years out in one post. So here you go. Congrats to all my great couples who were featured all across the country and world and thank you to the magazines who support my work! I’m so thankful.
