You may have noticed my blog has been sadly neglected this fall. I promise I have a good reason, well 2 good reasons, and it will be back in full swing starting this week. In April my husband and I are expecting identical twin boys!!! It has been a wild ride as I’ve gotten through the first trimester and 1/2 and some serious morning (aka all day) sickness. But I am all over that now and ready to blog the 10 or so weddings that have been waiting around to make their appearance. I want to thank all my wonderful couples who have gotten their weddings already but been patient as they wait for their weddings to be blogged. In the meantime, please enjoy baby A, who likes to show off, and baby B, who apparently is a bit more shy :) I am very excited about what 2011 holds both personally and professionally. I will be off from shooting weddings March-mid May but back to some wonderful weddings in KS, CA and abroad the rest of the year. Happy Holidays!!!
LEIGH! How awesome! I’m due June 30th with just one, I can’t imagine how excited you are that you are having two! How do you know they will be identical?

thank you lauren! ive been following your progress on facebook :) i had a really early ultrasound and i guess they can tell early, when they first see them together. i knew something was up when my jeans were too tight at 7 weeks. i will post their progress. the photos are really fun. because of my, ahem, advanced maternal age, and the fact they share a placenta, i get a lot of ultrasounds. starting now every 2 weeks until they get here :)

hi, leigh, congratulations!! from one new mom wedding photographer to another (I had my daughter, symphony, 4/18/10). it is a crazy ride, and I can’t imagine it with TWINS but I’m sure you’ll have lots of help and so much love to give them. exciting!
