So excited to be sharing the final installment from Natasha and Chris’ wedding weekend in Negril, Jamaica. For the day after we rented a taxi and went out and about exploring whatever we found. It was great and just the way I love to work! Please enjoy. And come back soon for what will be a totally different wedding, Nili and Anthony’s winter wonderland wedding in Vermont. Am I not the luckiest person in the world? Ciao!

I am loving all the photos and all the reasons the photos mean so much to people. It’s amazing to see such a wide variety of images and meanings. Don’t forget to enter.

During the reception, my father pulled me aside, gave me a hug, and whispered in my ear how happy it makes him to see me so happy. And that is the most important thing to him. It felt so good to have him say those words to me, and I will always remember how genuinely happy he was for me. And in the background, my husband is just beaming, watching the moment between my father and I. I love that he knows exactly what is going on, that he knows my father is telling me how proud he is of me…it was a wonderful moment with two of the most important men in my life.

and these two. Congrats to Nili and Anthony. More coming soon!

I’m so excited to finally be sharing Natasha and Chris’ wedding from last fall. It was my first wedding in Jamaica and I sure hope I get to go back again. The Rockhouse is such a wonderful place to get married. The location is beautiful beyond words and the staff is the truly amazing. I could dedicate an entire post to Cleon alone (don’t worry, I did give him some love below!) It’s no wonder Natasha and Chris chose this place to start their lives together. Everything was perfect. Natasha looked stunning and she and Chris were both so excited to be getting married. I love it! I feel honored to have been a part of this great group and wedding. Now on to the photos! Be sure and come back to see the day after session. Next time I’m in Jamaica I’m going to spend a day just out exploring. It is such a beautiful country.

recently I was thinking….scary, I know, just hang in there….that it would be really interesting to know what your favorite image from your wedding day is and why. So I’m asking all my past brides, & grooms too, (I hope there are some who still read my blog!) to send me an email and let me know what your favorite image from the wedding day is and why. In return you will be entered in a drawing to win a $100 nordy’s gift card. I mean, I know you would do it anyway right, but time is precious and I appreciate your participation. I will be posting your responses over the next few months. Please send your email to leigh@leighmillerphotography.com I will be drawing for the gift card on April 1. Thank you!
And to kick things off here is Lulu’s favorite image and why, I love it!
This is my favorite photo from the wedding because it captures what I hoped my wedding to be—pure joy. At the heart of our wedding and in this photo is the love between Charles and I. We look giddy with happiness. A wedding is also about relationships and the people who have shaped who we are. To see such radiating happiness in our closest family and friend’s faces surrounding us made us feel so blessed.
