As promised, I’m getting caught up on the blog and some fabulous weddings that took place at the end of last year. I think this actually works out very well as I don’t have a wedding until March and it’s nice to sprinkle these in between all the recent enagement sessions. Melysa and Michael are another one of my great San Francisco couples who were referred to me by the awesome Morgan and Scott. Their wedding was at the beautiful Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. Wendy Wuitschick of Sorelle Weddings and Events was the event planner and everything was lovely and elegant in deep reds. Loved it! And there always seems to me something so lively and real about the Jewish weddings I photograph. So much joy. I love all the tradition but yet I’m not really a traditional person. And the dancing is always one of my favorite parts of the wedding. Enjoy!

Last week I met Emily and Matt up in PB for an engagement shoot. I asked Emily if she ever did any modeling, she was so funny and kind of shy, but said no. I think she should. She has such a great look. Matt you’re pretty sweet too! See you both soon.

My good friend, former bride and graphic designer extraordinaire (who happens to be designing my NEW logo!) Sarah is giving away 100 invitations from her signature collection. Head on over to her blog and check out the details. Who wouldn’t want 100 free invitations!

I just love how in love these two are with each other! Meridith and Colin are so fun and full of energy. It was great meeting up with them at the Viceroy in Palm Springs for an engagement shoot. I cannot wait until the wedding. See you both soon!

and a great big thank you to The Knot. Lindsay and Hank’s Cabo San Lucas wedding is featured in the Spring/Summer edition of The Knot national magazine! This is pretty exciting news as this issue will be sold all over the country and on bookstore shelves through July. Pick one up if you have a chance!

A few weeks ago I got a call from my good friend (and former bride) Erin Cole about shooting some salon shots for her. I was thrilled. Erin is always a blast to work with and I just heart her and her work so much! Her jewelry line is out of this world. I was also excited about seeing some of the shots I did for her ad campaign last year blown up and hanging on the walls.
So we settled on a date when the amazing Judd Waddell would be having his trunk show in the salon. I personally had never been to a trunk show and was excited to see what exactly went on. What a treat for the brides who had appointments that day! Can you imagine having the designer of your gown in the store while you’re trying it on and HE is going to fit you? For one bride he even combined two designs right there on the spot, and brides who purchased one of Judd’s gowns that day received a sketch of their gown autographed by Judd. I think that is pretty wonderful. It is also funny because my knowledge of designers in the fashion industry is pretty much limited to Project Runway. With all the drama and egos. Judd is so down to earth, such a nice guy. As an artist it was fun for me to watch his reaction as the gals put on his gowns. You could tell he was genuinely interested in every bride that came through that door. So between Judd and the amazing gals at Erin Cole, it was a real treat for everyone. I think you can tell from the photos and the note from a past client, Erin and her staff are all about making your wedding gown experience exceptional on all levels. It was all I could do to not just rip off my clothes and start trying on gowns too – haha! So here are some photos from the day. This Friday and Saturday one of the designers from Rivini will be at Erin Cole and you can check out Judd’s website to see where he will be for the rest of the year. Have a great day everyone!

This next series is my favorite.
