I don’t even know where to start with a post about Colleen and Jimmy’s wedding. I have been looking forward to their wedding for over a year, since shooting their engagement photos at Coney Island last August after they won the engagement photo contest giveaway of 2007. If you go back and read those two posts I think you will see why they hold a special place in my heart. I felt like I knew them so well already and of course had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy’s family last summer. Over the past year Colleen and I had exchanged many, many emails about the wedding planning, the gown, the flowers, etc… To see it all come together was awesome.
And the wedding day was a blast. Fun. Funny at times (I could do an entire post on the limo ride over to the ceremony itself!). Emotional. Joyful. A few tears. A little bit of nervousness. Lots of friends and family, tons of hugs and kisses. Thank you both again for letting me be a part of your wedding. You both deserve only the best. Enjoy!

Again…you have captured the happiest moments of our life. Every bride should have Leigh Miller in their lives. I know you will be in our lives forever. Your next job, is to do my first baby and I’m coming to Cali for that…hahahahahahaha.

Leigh Miller is an unbelievable photographer. I saw her in action at this wedding. She truly captured the emotions of this event, especially the reception!!! It doesn’t hurt that Colleen and Jimmy are so cute :)

Leigh…what a great day it was and you captured every great moment especially the Immodium pit stop. You got all of the candid shots that show who they really are. If I didn’t love Colleen so much I’d be jealous, I wish you were the photographer at my wedding!
