and a great big thank you to the Kathryn at Snippet & Ink for featuring their wedding! Snippet & Ink is one of my favorite wedding blogs, so inspirational! Here’s a link to Nicole and Alex’s original wedding post. Happy Monday everyone!
off somewhere for a wedding! And yesterday I shot an awesome engagement. Can you guess where I am? Today I will be wondering around, doing some touristy things with my husband. So stayed tuned. More pics coming. And yes, some where you can actually see the couple ;)
just returned from an amazing weekend in Cabo and a wonderful wedding. Thought I’d share a photo of the view from the balcony of my room in Pedregal. Breathtaking! I want to thank my good friends Paula and Mike for letting me hangout with them and Paula for shooting with me Saturday. It was a rough weekend of yachting, etc… Stayed tuned for some awesome weddings I’ve yet to blog. Patience please :) I am home for 3 days, have 3 shoots this week and travel up to Sonoma for what I knew is going to be a great wedding at the Fairmont Sonoma on Saturday. Happy Monday!
Well I’m off again to another wonderful destination wedding! I will be out of the studio thurs-sun and back answering emails and phone calls on monday. Meanwhile…here’s one little photo from Anna and Alex’s we’re having a baby shoot. I have a lot to say about these two but will wait until the real post ;) Aren’t they adorable.
Sarah and Mike’s beautiful Eucalyptus Lane wedding is featured on the fabulous Style Me Pretty blog (actually it looks like its being released in stages and the first few posts are up now, keep checking back over there for more). I was thrilled a few months ago to be accepted into Abby’s Little Black Book and now am even more excited to see Sarah and Mike’s wedding featured. Sarah and Mike were so great to work with from beginning to end. With a couple like that and a wedding styled by the creative genius, Rebecca Stone of Duet Weddings, I knew it was going to be a feast for the eyes and so fun to photograph. So since we don’t post without a pic, here again is one of my favorite photos of the newly married couple, and links to their original blog posts – details, photobooth slideshow, and real wedding post with slideshow. Thanks Sarah and Mike for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. Thanks to Rebecca for styling an amazing event. And thanks to Abby and Michelle over at Style Me Pretty, it’s been so fun getting to know you! (Yes I realize it’s not an academy award but I’m a dork and so excited!) Oh and the gorgeous florals were done by Juniper Presence. Just gorgeous!
Linda and Michael had the most fabulous wedding at the One & Only Palmilla in Cabo. If you are considering a wedding at the One & Only I only have two words for you, DO IT!!! The One & Only and Las Ventanas are two of the snazziest places in Cabo and I’ve been so fortunate to get to shoot weddings at both. In fact, I’m so lucky I will be back at Las Ventanas next year too :) Linda and Michael’s wedding weekend was filled with great style, laughter, friends and family. The group was a blast and I feel so honored to have been there photographing the wedding and the days before it. So here we go, some photos from the day and a little slideshow from the wedding. Be sure and check out their welcome dinner and sunset cruise too. Thank you Linda and Michael for having me along. Wishing you only the best!
You don’t know what it’s like
Breaking the law, breaking the law…
Yes I just can’t help myself and I’m doing something I never, never do! I’m going to blog one pic from Lu Lu and Charles’ day after session before the wedding post. We had such a great time shooting and sharing stories and I’m so thrilled with the pics. So here’s one. And many, many more coming. But unless I go totally off the deep end, the wedding will come before the rest of the day after session. If you don’t have a day after session planned, you better get yourself one or you might be sad.
One wonderful thing about my job is the travel and the great friends I make. Ok, that’s two things. Recently I jetted over to Miami (that sounds so me doesnt it – haha!) and shot a wedding with my good friend and awesome photographer Riccis Valladares. His work is truly inspiring. Riccis’ wedding was at the Ritz in South Beach and it felt pretty funny to go all the way to Florida to shoot a wedding that felt so much like a California wedding – well CA + about 110% humidity!!! It was a beautiful wedding with a gorgeous couple and lots of cool details. Purple must be the new black cause I’ve seen a lot of it at weddings lately. So here are a few pics from the day…and be sure and keep any eye out cause this wedding is going to be featured on WeTvs Platinum Weddings. I tried my very best to stay out of the camera’s eye so don’t expect to see me on the show! Here’s hoping anyway.
