All night on the beach till the break of dawn…I’m going to Miami…

I’m headed to Miami – woohoo!!! But I’m guessing that’s where the similarity between this song ends and me ends.  I’m heading southeast to shoot a wedding with my good friend Riccis and hangout with my dad and in-laws for a few days.  I will be back in the studio Tuesday and returning all phone calls and emails.

Also when I return I will be catching up on the blogging & shooting 3 new weddings in June.  WOW, that’s kind of a slow month!  But before I go, one pic from Linda and Michael’s wedding. Aren’t Linda and Michael awesome!

how fun is this!!! The night before their wedding at the One & Only Palmilla, Linda and Michael took the entire wedding party and all the guests on a sailing cruise. It was a perfect way to spend the evening. So peaceful and relaxing. Here’s the link to Talofa Tallship in case anyone is interested. And of course a few photos. Wedding pics are coming next!!!

Just a few pics to share from Linda and Michael’s welcome dinner at the beautiful One and Only Palmilla in San Jose Del Cabo.  It was a wonderful breezy night and everything put together by wedding coordinator Katia Unger (kafodi2@yahoo.com) was just perfect!  If you’re planning a Cabo wedding be sure and shoot Katia an email.  She has the scoop on Cabo and !man! is she a hard worker.

The entire weekend was so great and Linda and Michael had such a fun group, I can’t wait to blog more!  Coming soon the sailing cruise the night before the wedding and of course the wedding!!!  Linda and Michael I hope you are having a great rest of the week in Cabo and preparing for an awesome honeymoon!  BTW Linda I know where you are going  ;)

I’ve already posted Sarah and Mike’s photobooth slideshow and some of their fabulous details so here is the rest of the wedding story.  I love the photobooth,  adore the pretty details,  but what really gets me going are the great moments.  All these elements come together for me to tell a story.  And that is what its all about!

Sarah and Mike were both just glowing on the wedding day!  And so was everyone around them.  The whole wedding was just buzzing with excitement, joy and love.  It couldn’t have been more perfect!  Rebecca Stone of Duet Weddings did a great, great job with everything.  I love the comment that Sarah left on Rebecca’s blog, that every detail had a little of them in it.  I’ve worked with some amazing wedding coordinators and I think the best ones truly have that gift and put so much of themselves into the wedding!  As do the photographers.  It just makes sense!

Yes the rumors are true!  Heading out for another destination wedding this weekend at the One and Only Palmilla in Los Cabos.  I can’t wait to get there and I can’t wait to come back and share some fab photos!!!  And now the business…all emails and phone calls will be returned Monday or Tuesday.  When I get back home I will be there for the long stretch of 12 days before heading to Miami to shoot with my good friend and wonderful photographer Riccis Valladares.  And since it would be a shame to post without a pic…here’s one little preview pic from Courtney and Aaron’s wedding last weekend in Mexico.  Have a great Thursday everyone!

I heart Rebecca and Eric.  I am constantly amazed at the wonderful couples I get to work with and how lucky I am to have the job I have.  I met Rebecca and Eric a few nights before their wedding at the resort where the wedding was in Mexico.  Rebecca and I immediately hit it off.  I swear if I had a sister, she would be just like Rebecca.  (Both our mother’s should probably count their blessings they didn’t have to deal with both of us together!)  I seriously felt like I’d known her for years.  Isn’t it amazing when that happens? 

But back to the wedding!  Rebecca and Eric were married at the El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya.  Rebecca looked gorgeous and wore the most fabulous Nicole Miller wedding gown and Eric was a trooper despite having one of the worst sunburns I’ve ever seen in my life!  So without further delay, cause I know they’ve been patiently waiting, here are a few pics from the wedding day and the day after in and around Riviera Maya and the Rosewood Mayakoba where I hope to shoot a wedding or at least spend a relaxing weekend soon!  Congrats guys!  Can’t wait to hear about Africa and Rebecca can’t wait to catch up in NYC this fall.
