just wanted to let everyone know I’m in Mexico for Katie and Marcus’ fabulous Las Caletas wedding. I will return to the studio Tuesday afternoon. When Erin called me about shooting her wedding, I was thrilled for a number of reasons. One because I already knew Erin and knew what an awesome and fun person she is (I met her when I shot Mimi and Gabes wedding in 2006 at the Parker in Palm Springs) and two because she’s Erin Cole and I knew this would be one fabulous wedding. Erin has such a classy yet hip air about her. And luckily for all of us Mimi is now a wedding coordinator, Enjoy Celebrations and Occasions and together they put together one amazing evening! Not one to go with the ordinary, Erin had her wedding gown custom made for her by Rita Vineries of Rivini. It was so unique and elegant. She looked like she stepped out of bridal magazine. And the fabulous accessories from her own salon just topped everything off. I feel like I need an excuse to go out and do something fancy so I can get a necklace like the one Erin wore. Do you think I could have another wedding? (My husband would probably say no!) So without further delay, here are some of my favorite photos from Erin and Michael’s wedding day.

I only have a few openings left for 2008 and thought I’d throw out there a wedding wishlist so to speak! I’m traveling to a lot of wonderful places this year but here are a few locations I’d like to add in 2008 or 2009. So if you know anyone getting married in one of these places I would appreciate it if you could pass my name along. Thank you!!!
Montana – yep that’s right. My husband keeps asking me when I’m going to shoot a wedding in Montana??? He thinks Montana is the bomb and I’ve seen some beautiful weddings out in open fields with the mountains in the background. Montana, here we come!
A real Southern Wedding – I’m from Memphis and have been itching to shoot a wedding in the south. Something really cool and stylish where they serve sweet tea on the front porch! Sometimes I wished we’d have gone back to the South to get married but Palm Springs was nice too :) Charleston and anyplace in Mississippi sound especially attractive but I’m open to anything.
Italy or Greece – need I say more? A photographer’s dream shoot!

It was one cold and windy day but Emmy and Jeff were troopers as we strolled through downtown Julian trying to keep warm and then it got even better! We went out to a cow field. And believe me it took some fancy footwork to stay out of the cow patties. So here’s a little preview of the engagement session. Thanks guys for being so great! I can’t wait for the wedding :)
