A little preview…

December 30, 2007

from Erin and Michael’s amazing wedding earlier this month.  To say Erin has great style would be an understatement.  She is actually Erin Cole of the Erin Cole Bridal Salon in Costa Mesa.  I met Erin in 2006 when I shot her friend Mimi’s wedding.  Mimi is actually a wedding coordinator now and did a fantastic job on Erin and Michael’s wedding.  There were so many personal touches and Erin even had her gown custom made for her by Rivini!  But more about all that later.  This is just the preview hitting my blog for the first time :) I will be posting a slideshow from the entire wedding in a few days.

For now…some of the great details, a few other pics and a few smokin’ pics of Erin and Michael taken in their bedroom.  Because they didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony we did all the couple’s pics after dark using a video light.  What fun and so unique!!!

Happy Holidays…

December 25, 2007

and Merry Christmas!  I hope everyone is having a great Christmas surround by family and friends doing something they love.  I’ve been traveling a bit and am now in Memphis, where I grew up, spending time with my grandparents.  I haven’t been here for Christmas for years and it’s such a treat to be here this year.  I know I’ve been taking a bit of a break from blogging but coming soon - Emmy and Jeff’s engagement session and a slideshow from Erin and Michael’s December wedding!!! To hold everyone over and because I haven’t posted pics of the boys for a while, here are a few holiday type pics.  It was hard but in between phone calls and antler fighting I grabbed a few shots.

I’m so happy to be sharing pics from Maggie and Evan’s wedding!!! This wedding was a total blast.  Every single person at this wedding had a rockin’ time, and I have the pics to prove it.  There was so much joy at this wedding I thought the couple might actually burst wide open.  And they were so smart in having the absolute best band I’ve ever heard play at a wedding - The Durell Coleman Band.  If you are having a wedding and plan on having a band you must talk to these guys!  I even got pulled out on the dance floor by the father of the groom for a minute.  So here’s a preview and a slideshow.  You gotta check this slideshow out and see how much fun this group was.  Congrats again Maggie and Evan!  I don’t even need to wish you a long happy life together, I know you’ve got that under control :)
