I’m going to have a fun little slideshow up but the end of the weekend for Maggie and Evan but just wanted to give them this little sneak peak and share with everyone all their great details! Enjoy! I love the fall colors. 

A few weeks ago I got to meet Lu Lu and Charles in downtown La Jolla for an engagement session.  I was so excited when I saw them, they both have such great style and Lu Lu wore the most fabulous dress!  Isn’t she gorgeous?!?  What a beautiful bride she’s going to make.  Come back in June 2008 to see the weddings pics!  Here’s a small preview guys.  Enjoy.  You both were wonderful.  Thanks so much!

You may remember Cecilia and Ivan from their fun engagement session in LA.  We had such a good time that day and they were so into the photography I knew the wedding day would be great!  These two love photography and I LOVE that.  And Cecilia and Ivan, and their wedding coordinator Lisa Simpson,  planned the wedding day down to the T.  The decor was fabulous and very pink and Cecilia looked stunning in her Monique L’huillier  gown.  I was so impressed during the entire planning process with how involved Ivan was.  You can tell he just adores Cecilia and would give her anything in the world.  Enjoy the preview guys!  I will be blogging the day after in the next week or so.  Yes, the week after the wedding we met up again for a day after session in a studio and on the streets in LA.  More and more local couples are doing Day After Sessions and I’m lovin’ it!!!  

I’m going to be spending the next few weeks catching up on all the blogging I need to do.  So stayed tuned for 4 weddings and a few engagement sessions as well!  To kick things off here are a few pics of Macey and Chun in the Gaslamp District in San Diego.  As you can see these two have a real playfulness about them.  The wedding day should be a lot of fun!  Macey is tres sassy but Chun can definately hold his own.  Can’t wait guys.  The wedding will be here before you know it.

Kim and Gary are just two of the most fun and fabulous people in San Diego!!! I have been looking forward to their wedding since our first meeting and dinner together.  Kim has been one of the funniest brides and so much fun to get to know and email back and forth.  She has an amazing sense of humor!  (Kim, I’ve missed our emails since the wedding’s been over!)  They’ve also been very patient as I’ve been getting caught up on my blogging, what my husband refers to as the BLOG CLOG.  (yes there’s an endless supply of bathroom humor in our house – too many males!)  But back on topic and back to Kim and Gary.  Congratulations guys!!! I can’t even say how much fun it’s been working with you.  Kim I know you’re thinking about that day after and I think you should get out that SASSY reception dress and let’s do something fun!!!

I can’t believe how fast time is going by!  This week marks my second year being a full-time photographer.  It was 2 years ago this week that I left my job as a therapist at Children’s Hospital to give this photography thing a try.  I have to say it’s been better than I ever could have expected.  In those two years I’ve worked with such wonderful people and traveled to England, the Bahamas, Mexico and tons of great US cities to shoot.  I’ve made some new friends and been supported by some great photographers.  I’m so excited about what the next few years will bring.  Thank you so much to all the amazing clients I’ve worked with and to all the photographers who have been so helpful and supportive as I’ve gotten this business off the ground.  And lastly but certainly not least, a HUGE thanks to my family as the have been there every step of the way, being just about as excited as I have been!  I feel so sappy right now…
