yesterday I met Grace and Peter in downtown San Diego for their engagement session. Despite getting booted out of about every place we tried to go in, we managed to have a great time and get some great photos. Grace I don’t think you have an reason to be camera shy!!! And I know the wedding day will be a blast :) So without further delay – here are some pics for a little preview!

Yep! That’s right. An engagements session that started on the roof at The Standard in LA. Last week I met Ivan and Cecilia on the roof on what must have been one of the windiest days in LA history! But we had a great time anyway. Ivan and Celcila are getting married in November at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point. I can’t wait to shoot the wedding and I know it will be fun if the engagement session is any indication of what’s to come! It’s also my second engagement session in a row where the couple brought their dog. Just so you know, dogs are always welcome at any session :) We even had our dog at our wedding.
So here you go guys, a few pics to preview. I had a great time. It was so fun having lunch and hanging out with you for the afternoon! Talk to you soon :)

So here it is! The real blog post for Sarah and Rudy, whom most of you know by now got married at the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. And I’m so happy to be posting it. Sarah and Rudy are the kind of couple that absolutely make me love what I do. I feel so lucky to have met them and been their wedding photographer. And so lucky to have them as my very own personal graphic designers. Ok, well maybe not just mine but they have designed some amazing things for me and I can’t wait send everything out the printer and start getting it out there!!!
But back to their wedding cause this IS their wedding blog post, right? What a fabulous wedding it was. And what made it even more fabulous was that Sarah and Rudy designed so many of their details – from the table cards, to the clay cake topper of themselves, and their own logo. So many awesome personal touches. And I can honestly say every single person they had working on their wedding did a great job and Melissa from I Do Weddings did a spectacular job keeping everything going, despite about 2,000 people at the Wild Animal Park! The ceremony was beautiful and in their vows they said something that I thought is really important to remember, “I promise to care more about your feelings than about being right.” Aren’t those great words to live by? I must admit there was some serious laughter when they each said that.
So enough of my blabbing, sometimes I do run on, here’s a slideshow of highlights from the wedding of sarah and rudy :) Congrats guys. Hope you are living it up in Hawaii!!! Talk to you both soon.
So I’ve heard of brides calling the first pics that are posted on photographer’s blogs “teaser pics.” I’ve been told there are a lot of people out there waiting for a few teaser’s from Sarah and Rudy’s wedding at the Wild Animal Park on Saturday. So here you go…..some “teaser pics” :) Come back later this week for the real post and slideshow. I’m expecting some comments with this one! But please be nice.

Sarah’s too fab for words shoes!!!

Isn’t love grand? (I’m going to have to get over myself with my new canon 5D and 24mm lens!)

But I’m not totally heartless. A final kiss before the night ends. Real post and slideshow coming soon.
I promise :)
are getting married! And I’m so excited to be their wedding photographer. #1 because they are great people and #2 because I shot Denise’s sister’s (Rosanne) wedding almost a year ago. It’s so fun for me when I go back and work with the same families again. So when Denise and Carl called me I was thrilled :) For the engagement session we headed back to where it all began – UCSD. They wanted to revive some of those college memories. So here are a few pics. Denise and Carl head back to college :)

Meet Denise and Carl’s baby!

Carl takes a little ribbing about the “good dog” bone Denise was carrying around.

This is the first session where I took my son Curtis, he got this shot!

They even have a brick at UCSD that says the are sweethearts.

Wonder if Denise really sat around class writing this in her notebooks back in the day?
