engagement session. Yep Sarah and Rudy are so cool we went all the way to Africa to shoot their engagement session!

And while in Africa we met this really friendly giraffe :)

Well in case you haven’t guessed, we weren’t really in Africa, we were at the San Diego Zoo! Sorry for the joke. I just couldn’t help myself! Sarah and Rudy are so fun, I can’t wait for the wedding. They are actually getting married at the San Diego Wild Animal Park and I know it’s going to be a great wedding. These two are a bundle of laughs and also my great graphic designers. They have been working hard and designing all the promotional material I am going to be using in the next year. I can’t wait to actually get some of the great things they’ve been designing printed and out to my clients. To say the are talented would be an understatement. I also know they are looking to expand their graphic design business so please let me know if you are in need of a graphic designer and I would be happy to send you their contact information. Stayed tuned for a post showing off some of their great work in the next few weeks :)
Ok back to the engagement session. Often I hear brides or grooms say “I hate having my picture taken.” Sarah was no exception. The pic below is literally one of the first ones I took.

But things quickly got better!

Im not crazy about heights but we did go up in the tram thing to take some cool pics.

We stopped by to see the polar bears. I love polar bears.

A little bit of the bunny ears!

This zebra was very interested in what was going on. A lot of the day we say the backsides of the animals. You know how they are – oh here come some people, let me turn around and show them my rear! But this zebra came right up to the fence to get a better look at what was going on.

Rudy was making new friends all over the place.

Well maybe not with this guy!

Meercat manor :)

We decide this gorilla looked like it would be anyones friend. Make up your own caption here. Most of what we came up with I probably shouldn’t post, this is a family blog.

Sarah and Rudy assured me this was in no way a reflection of their relationship.

I love this pic in the aviary.

Africa? What? Crazy Leigh and her safari’s. Great shots. Great location. I could only imagine what i would be like to shoot in Africa. ;) Good job.
