The Salton Sea…

January 14, 2007

and the Curtis project.  This weekend the entire fam took a trip out to the Salton Sea to work on what I’m calling the Curtis project.  Since my son is a senior this year we decided we are going to hit some really cool locations and do a series of senior pics.  I had seen some photos of this place called Bombay Beach and it looked so weird.  Apparently in the 1970s this beach was flooded and a mobile home park was absorbed in a bed of sand.  It remains there almost 30 years later, still buried.  It’s a little eerie and Texas Chainsaw Massacre was mentioned more than once while we were there.

This is the first set in the series and a quick slideshow.  Stay tuned for more, coming soon….

The exciting trip over, IPODS a must

An amazing find … we couldn’t believe it but in El Centro we found a Sonic - yippee!!!

A few pics from the shoot.

Chris even sat still long enough for me to catch a few pics of him :)
