This pic is for you spammers!!!
Ok, I had to turn my comments section off because I was getting comment SPAM, ugh, but I just activated my word verification function on the blog so I can get comments again :) Unfortunately that means if you DO want to leave comments you will have to decode those squiggly letters before you leave your comment. But at least now I won’t have 32 spam comments advertising some dumb service. Thanks in advance for your comments and for your time!!!
I am one of the lucky photographers working with Linda on images for her upcoming CD, so yesterday I headed out to get some pics of Linda and her collaborator David Helpling working in the studio. You may remember Linda as the amazingly talented artist whose wedding I photographed in June. (You can check out the June archives to see the pics again.) Anyway, I had no idea what goes into cutting a CD (and still don’t really understand) but it was fun to watch Linda and David work and get some photos for the CD of Linda working in the studio. Be sure and check out Linda’s website at
www.lindasargent.com She has some really awesome stuff going on right now, including vocals in the movie The New World starring Colin Farrell and Christian Bale. And David’s work and information can be seen here
www.dhmmusicdesign.com David is in the process of writing the scores for a number of movies. I don’t know how these two do what they do but they are the BEST!!!

Apparently Converse are essential to music making!

I guess this happens a lot! No really these two are like peanut butter and jelly, haha!!! Be sure and check back next week ’cause Linda and I are headed off to LA for a sweet studio shoot. I can’t wait to share them here!!!
This is the last weekend of the San Diego Junior Theatre’s musical Zombie Prom (which my son happens to be in, so here’s my shameless plug). It’s kind of like Grease with Zombies. These teens are some of the most talented you will find in San Diego and the show is a lot of fun to watch.
Here’s what they have to say about it on the SDJT website: It’s not just another day at Enrico Fermi High when dead student Jonny Warner, a casualty of the local nuclear plant, reappears at school in hopes of completing his senior year. Jonny’s re-entry is anything but smooth, as this fast-paced musical story illuminates the stage. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

And a pic of a few of the amazingly talented cast members during a dress rehearsal. You can get information about show dates and times at the San Diego Junior Theatre website. www.juniortheatre.com

You may remember Stephanie from my October 1st wedding, here’s a recent note I got from her after she saw her preview. (I love it when this happens)
Leigh,
I can’t thank you enough for doing such a wonderful job at the wedding and for the beautiful picture frame and the photo album! I am so lucky to have found you! (Kinda sounds like something I should be writing to my husband! haha). Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you about the big album and the parent albums. Many, Many Thanks – Stephanie
And the second note after she saw ALL the pics:

I love them all! I went through and tried to be really slim in picking out my favorites. I thought I did really well but when I looked in my favorites folder I had picked too many! I have to find 100 pictures to cut! Ahhhh! Haha. I love them, thank you so much!
Stephanie
Thank you to Stephanie and William. I had a great time in Exeter!!!
