If you’ve talked to me recently you know I am getting married to the most wonderful man in the world, Ryan, in September in Palm Springs. Our plan was to have my brother marry us but since he lives in another state it would not be legal in CA. Our solution to that was to go ahead with our original plans for September but run off to Vegas to get the legal mumbo jumbo out of the way. Well we did it!!!! I call it the Burger King wedding, since it was a drive through and all. We had the ceremony at A Special Memory Wedding Chapel, you just drive up and ring the bell and they come to the window and perform the ceremony. It doesn’t get anymore Vegas than that.
So here are some pics taken by the amazing John Micheal Cooper (be sure and check out his work!) It was well worth going to Vegas to have our pics taken by such a talented photographer. Hanging out with him was just icing on the cake.
I haven’t seen all the photos so when I do I will post a few more of my faves. I highly recommend the drive through wedding, just don’t forget to hire a photographer!

Stay tuned for part two! Pics from the Palm Springs wedding will be up around September 18th or 19th. Thanks for looking – Leigh
Today I got the nicest note from Linda and Cameron. I photographed their wedding in June. I had a great time at their wedding and really enjoyed their families.

Here’s what Linda wrote:
We LOVE the pictures! We did receive the DVD and have been amazed with the quality of the pics! Your eye for composition and design is incredible and I’m impressed with every image. It’s taken us awhile to look through all of the images and decide which ones we like the most… because they are all so beautiful! We have been recommending you to everyone we know. All of our friends and family were so impressed with your work and it was such a blessing to have you at our wedding.
Linda and Cameron are such a wonderful, artistic and talented couple. Check out their websites www.lindasargent.com and www.tonic-media.com
Today I got to photograph Olivia on her “birth” day. Today is the day Oliva was supposed to be born, but she just couldn’t wait. Olivia arrive on May 24th! She had quite a stuggle at the beginning but she is a real survivor and now weighs in at over 6 lbs. She is healthy and happy. Just a real sweetie! I am doing “a year in the life” with Olivia. We get together every 3 months to photograph how Olivia is growing and changing. Check back in the 3 months. She will be such a big girl then!
When I got there Olivia was sleeping peacefully. A great time to get those quiet shots.
But that didnt last very long. She woke up and her little personality showed through. She also seem to be pretty interested in the camera! Maybe she has a future in photography???
Such little baby feet. Parents just wait, one day those feet are going to want a pair of $500 Kate Spade’s. Ok, maybe I’m projecting. I want a $500 pair of Kate Spade’s.
Alas, she went back to doing what most babies want to do, sleep!
Today was a great sunny summer day in southern california!!! I got to spend the day by the pool with some friends…
Here’s Devon taking a break after a hard swim. He needed a skittle break with mom Lori. A guy’s gotta have priorities!
At first Sammy was a little shy. He was hiding behind mommy Rosanne! As you will see in a minute he quickly got over his shyness!
While taking a break from swimming Sammy decided freestyle is better! He didn’t wear clothes the rest of the day.
Here are some fun pics of Lori so she can remember her final days of being pregnant. She’s due next week and I am hoping I will get to follow her into the delivery room!
Even when she’s about to pop, Lori looks like a movie star!!!
