Today I got to shoot a beautiful wedding at Paradise Point Resort in San Diego. Candice and Ric are both such wonderful people and planned an elegant affair in black and white.
The back of Candice’s dress had amazing details. I love to photograph the details that make everything so special!
The happy couple leaving the ceremony. The ceremony was very personal and performed by a close family friend.
Candice at Ric during their first dance as husband and wife. Like everything else they do, their first dance was perfect and showed what a great couple they are!
This little guy was the ring bearer and the life of the party. He was especially fond of salsa music!!!
Happy Birthday Curtis!!!

Today is my oldest son’s birthday. In the past year he has grown taller than me and that is a little weird! He is a wonderful and talented young man.
Today i had the opportunity to shoot for Susie Grant, an amazing woman and photographer. The bride was beautiful and the groom was handsome and it turned out to be a warm but wonderful day! It was so fun to work with Susie and I can’t wait to work with her again!
Katelin and Sandy after the ceremony. This is a part of the day I really look forward to as a photographer. The couple spends some time alone together before heading off the reception and family and friends.
The groomsmen had been up to a little trickery before the ceremony started! Take a close look at the groom’s shoes.

Here’s a picture of the lovely couple and the lovely Susie. I am a little camera shy and still working on getting a photo of myself!!!
Today I had the honor to shoot one of the most unique weddings I’ve ever attended. Anea and Guy had an intimate wedding with 35 of their closest friends and family at the Orchard Hill Inn, a quaint bed and breakfast in historic Julian, CA.
The “getting ready” pictures are often some of my favorites. I think Anea is a beauty in her own right. Look out Julia!!!
Anea and Guy before the ceremony. They planned an untraditonal gathering with family and friends.
The officiant was a good friend of theirs, Montel Williams. Every person at the ceremony spoke about why Anea and Guy were so special to them. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Instead of traditional rings, Anea and Guy had their wedding rings tattooed on their fingers as part of the ceremony.
Anea.
The reception was lively with a bellydancer to kick start the entertainment and dancing.
