I was so excited about Caitlin and Steven’s wedding almost from the moment I sat down with Caitlin and her mom Dorothy. Steven’s sister had been in a wedding I photographed last year and I knew this was going to be a fabulous couple. Thank you again Jill (Kate & Company) ! It was such a beautiful fall day in Kansas City to be getting married and the wedding was so unique and stylish. And I have to say I already knew how excited Caitlin’s mom was about the wedding but I found out what excitement really was when I met her dad. Caitlin’s dad had to have been one of the most excited fathers I have ever seen at a wedding! This couple had the most fun and happiest friends and family and it just made the entire day so special and a joy to be there. When I posted a quick photo during dinner Caitlin’s portrait almost brought down my facebook page with over 400 likes! Congratulations Caitlin & Steven and the entire Eagan & Diederich clans! xoxo!
I am so thrilled to be sharing this inspiration shoot at the newly renovated Brass on Baltimore (formerly The Baltimore Club). I had the honor to work with some of Kansas City’s best wedding professionals. Kim Ho – You’re Invited , Erin Volante – Erin Volante Florals and I worked together to bring this shoot to fruition along with many other KC vendors. It was so much fun to work with all these great people (see full list below). The newly renovated Brass on Baltimore has the most amazing rooftop space in all of Kansas City! The space is bright and modern and has the best light. The views from the rooftop terrace are beautiful and iconic! I hope you enjoy getting a little sneak peak of this historic space. And make sure to watch Maura Coleman of Creative Films video at the end for more of the space and even some behind the scene footage.

I’ve probably made no secret of the fact that NYC is one of my most favorite cities in the whole world so when Amanda & Dan contacted me about photographing their wedding at the Gramercy Park Hotel I couldn’t have been more excited. Amanda and I had never met but apparently lived in the San Diego area at the same time. She found me years ago and began following my blog and I am so glad she did! Amanda & Dan’s wedding was so lovely in many ways. First they are just two darling people…so gracious, kind, thoughtful, genuine…I could go on and on. I truly felt like I knew them from the time I got there and it was such a pleasure to witness and document their day. I am SO excited to be sharing Part I and I will admit I’ve been a little self indulgent with the post and shared a lot of photos from their day! So please enjoy and please come back for Part II.
for Rosie & Mike, more coming soon, enjoy!
