one little pic…

for Meghan & Chris.  Who knew when I second shot Meghan’s best friend’s wedding 5 years ago in Miami that I would later be living in Kansas City photographing her sister Shannon’s wedding and her maternity session?  Did you follow that? Anyway, a great big thank you to Meghan for sending the wonderful Shannon and Peete my way and for allowing me to document a moment in her pregnancy. Isn’t she adorable! More coming soon.

congrats to allie & jeremy…

they are expecting their first little girl in less than a week!  I had so much fun photographing Allie in her last few weeks of being pregnant.  And she is just adorable.  You might remember their engagement session from last year (wedding blog still to come).  I’m just so thrilled for these two and know they will be the best parents!  Congrats and can’t wait to meet the little miss.

This will probably be the last wedding I post this year and it couldn’t be a better one. I am so excited to share Ashlee and Brett’s wedding. They got married at the most awesome place, Tall Oaks. I could shoot there every weekend. And it is a special place for Ashlee and her family as her great-grandfather was the founder. So here is part I. Congrats Ashlee and Brett it’s being great getting to know you guys and become friends with you Ashlee. And thank you to my super talented friend Kelley Walker Chance for sending Ashlee and Brett my way.  It’s an honor when another photographer thinks enough of you to refer you to one of their best friends.  Come back in the next few days to see part II and all the great people who worked with the couple to bring the wedding day together. Happy Saturday!!!

courtney & lance | the national | parkville | part II

Yay!!! I am so happy to share Courtney and Lance’s wedding part II (part I here). They both have been so wonderful to photograph and I just love their families too. Courtney wrote me the sweetest email after seeing part I. It made my heart so happy. It reminds me I need to show my gratitude more often.

I am going to get no work done today whatsoever! I have already looked at them approximately 10 times and I keep just walking around the office showing people :) They are fantastic and everything we could have ever dreamed of! You are way too good at this! Can’t wait to see the rest!

So without delay, Part II. As you can tell it was an amazing celebration of two people starting their lives together. Does it get any better than that?

I can’t believe this year is almost over! I have about 5 more weddings from this year to blog and I am so excited about Courtney and Lance’s. You might remember their awesome engagement session in Nashville. It was definitely one of my most favorite ever. They had the most beautiful wedding in Parkville, Missouri this fall. I’ve had the pleasure to get to know Courtney’s family a little since about a year ago when I met with her parents and it was such a great group of family and friends. Again I found myself having the hardest time narrowing down the photos to share. So here is Part I, Part II will come later this week. For now please enjoy the first part of the day and their marriage ceremony. I am sure you will fall in love with them.
